Ellie Prohan is a Radio Broadcaster, Hype Events Host and International DJ.
She can currently be heard on The Beat London 103.6fm which notably won Best Radio Award at the Urban Music Awards. She is also Hype Host and Resident DJ for Supa Dupa Fly and Rock The Belles which was hailed as ‘London’s best RnB and Hip Hop night’ by ‘Time Out’.
After establishing her hugely successful beauty salon in West London, Ellie decided to pursue her love for music and embarked on an impressive journey teaching herself to DJ.
Subsequently the last 4 years have seen her gracing the decks of some of London’s top nights including The Jazz Cafe, Ace Hotel, 100 Wardour Street and Soho House apartments at the Hoxton Holborn. Ellie has also crossed the pond to entertain at Soho House New York, as well as festivals such as Kopparberg Urban Forest Festival, Santorini Supa Dupa Fly Festival, Notting Hill Carnival and Wireless Festival.
Ellie’s persona is infectious, having already being dubbed by her peers as ‘The Persian Power’ – drawing reference to her heritage and the party vibe that she brings to any space.
An undoubtedly talented DJ, she was hand picked by BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Charlie Sloth to guest mix on his show. One of very few DJ’s with the rare talent of not only DJ’ing live but simultaneously hosting her own sets, you’ll find her spinning the freshest Commercial, Hip Hop, Garage, RnB, Trap and Grime, picking up the mic to turn her already energetic set into a frenzy.
